Beauty in numbers

Beauty in numbers is a publication design that was conceptualised completely for the purpose to inspire and engage design students and professionals in using data visualisation techniques in their designs. I wanted to take the idea that numerical information can be seen as dry and ugly and transform it into the most beautiful thing I could. I used feathers as inspiration as something that is soft, agile and unique to create beautiful data representations and many illustration techniques to convey the different data visualisations throughout the publication.
