Periodical publication

A design strategy and 32-page asset with a purpose to communicate the annual review of the Royal Botanical gardens in Melbourne to investor, stakeholders and employees.

The royal Botanical Gardens Melbourne. A place of scientific eminence portraying a healthy planet and healthy life on Earth. This annual review publication considers that photosynthesis is the equation of life on our planet and draws inspiration from this equation, it’s periodical elements and how those could influence grid, type and design.

For design inspiration I referenced an old 1800’s publication of the royal botanical gardens in New York by Vignalli, which inspired the serif typeface, and botanical movement throughout.
